Group Class Schedule
Please try to pre-register for your group classes on-line by clicking here to get to our on-line scheduler. Pre-registration is important for all Group Equipment Classes - especially during our busy season! This will help ensure your spot in the classes of your choice. Some teachers, such as our Zumba Instructor, will check registrations before driving to the studio. So let us know you plan on coming to class. Thanks!

PLEASE NOTE OUR STUDIO POLICIES
Group Equipment Classes:
Students must have a minimum of 2 private sessions, and clearance from their trainer, before taking an equipment class. This is for safety and integrity reasons. Introductory private sessions are designed to familiarize new students to the studio, the equipment, Pilates fundamentals, as well as exercises.
Group Class Packages:
Group class packages expire 8 weeks from the date of purchase. Medical exceptions only.
Class Enrollment:
Please try to enroll in your group classes using our on-line scheduler [click the “Enroll Now” button on our home page - or the Click Here to Enroll button below]. This will ensure your spot in the class. We can not guarantee availability unless you preregister. 24-hour advance notice required for cancellation to avoid being charged for the full class.
No Refunds on Gift Certificates!
There are absolutely NO refunds for gift certificate purchases. You can transfer unused gift certifcates to another person, gift it as a charitble donation, or transfer unused portions to another service at Balance Pilates. No exceptions.

MVE Chair:
The MVe Chair class is a group equipment class using the Peak Pilates® MVe Chair, and is conducted to music using rhythm and tempo as a guide. This class helps to build core strength and balance using the tension of the Foot Bar for resistence. Students will perform exercises focusing on building leg strength, arm strength, and core strength. This class can be tailored to meet the needs of beginner to advanced students. Please inform your Instructor of your preference before class.
Pilates Reformer:
The Pilates Reformer class is a group equipment class using the Peak Pilates® Reformer. This routine progresses the student through a series of footwork and leg exercises, arm exercises, abdominal and back exercises, and much more! This routine is performed without music, and requires focus and concentration by the students as they listen carefully to the cues of their Instructor. This is a non-impact exercise, and is excellent for people with joint and back problems. In order to participate in a Pilates Reformer group equipment class, students must complete at least 2 hours of personal (private) training on the Reformer with an Instructor, and get clearance from their Instructor. This is for the safety of the student, and helps with the flow of the class for others.
Yoga:
The Yoga class is a group mat class using yoga principles such as breath work, strength and flexibility movements, and peaceful concentration in order to bring focus to your workout. Our yoga sessions accomodate beginners to advanced students. Please inform your Instructor of your preference before class.
Pilates Mat & More:
The Pilates Mat & More class is a group mat class incorporating Peak Pilates® Mat exercises (floor exercises) with PilatesStick® exercises and some yoga concepts. This is a wonderful way to get a Pilates workout without the prequisites of a Pilates equipment class! As with all other Pilates exercises, this class helps build core strength and stability, and emphasizes Pilates principles.
